Multi-Scale Studies of 3D Printed Mn–Na–W/SiO2 Catalyst for Oxidative Coupling of Methane

چکیده

This work presents multi-scale approaches to investigate 3D printed structured Mn–Na–W/SiO2 catalysts used for the oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) reaction. The performance has been compared their conventional analogues, packed beds pellets and powder. physicochemical properties were investigated using scanning electron microscopy, nitrogen adsorption X-ray diffraction (XRD). Performance durability tests conducted in laboratory a miniplant under real reaction conditions. In addition, synchrotron-based computed tomography technique (XRD-CT) was employed obtain cross sectional maps at three different positions selected within catalyst body during OCM revealed evolution active phases silica support on spatial temporal scales interiors operating These results accompanied with SEM-EDS analysis that indicated homogeneous distribution particles across support.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Kinetic studies of oxidative coupling of methane on samarium oxide

Kinetic behaviour of three samples of samarium oxide (cubic (Sm-1 ), monoclinic (Sm-3) and mixed cubic-monoclinic (Sm 2) ) were studied in the oxidative coupling of methane using a gradientless flow circulation system. The specific rate of C2product formation differed by a factor of 6-8 for Sm-1 and Sm-3. The specific activity for CO formation did not depend upon the crystal structure of samari...
